- The company Consultron has produced two packages called respectively
- "CrossDOS" and "CrossMAC" which are file systems from the Amiga and gives
- it the ability to read/write PC/Mac disks. From version 2.1 (i think it
- was) of the Amiga operative system the crossdos package came with the
- machine.
-
- Or you could get a "normal" serial cable and a mac one and plug the two
- machines together. Then get a terminal program for each.
- "Z-Term" a shareware program for the Macintosh and "NComm" (or perhaps
- "Term") for the Amiga, make sure they talk at the same speed, 57600 is
- possibly a good one. Use the Zmodem transfer protocol to transfer a lot
- of files in one go.
-
- It's a lot slower than a network but it's cheeper than buying an ethernet
- card for the Amiga :)
-
- I should think http://www.jumbo.com can provide the necessary software.
